In addition to the marks, the backs are also red . The remaining two cards are turned face-up and the performer says, "It's a good thing that you didn't pick these cards, you'd have gotten two Jacks.   Mentally Coloful by Ron Frost The magician shows eleven red back cards. He lays the eleven cards face up on the table showing that they all have different faces. He says, "We'll only use six cards" and takes five cards away. The magician asks a spectator to think of a number between one and six. While the spectator is thinking of a number the magician introduces an envelope containing his prediction. When the spectator tells the number he thought of the magician counts that many and points to the card in that position. The magician asks the spectator to open the envelope and reveal the prediction. It matches the card! Not only that, but when the card is turned over it has a blue back and so does the prediction card! Finally the magician turns the other ten cards over and they all have totally different backs. .

Mind Blank by by Lovell Buchanan Twelve cards are shown to spectator and a sealed envelope containing a secret prediction is given to the spectator. The cards are dealt in two rows, one row face down, second row face up. Spectator then chooses a row and then selects a card. Spectator tears open sealed envelope to find the prediction the same as his chosen card; this seems impossible, especially when both cards have different colored backs from the original 12 cards. But to everybody's amazement when the remaining cards are turned over they are all blank.

The card is then placed in the performer's pocket and it again returns to the top of the"packet. The card is placed in the centre of the packet and it is shown that it is actuaily the chosen card and that it is not at the top of the packet. At the word of command it rises yet again to the top. The cards are placed on the spectator's hand and he is allowed to perform the actions himself and once more the card comes to the top. You can now run through the cards, showing them back and front thus proving that there are no duplicates.
